Biography

London based Italian saxophonist, Simone Geda is a versatile artist interested in classical, jazz, and contemporary avant-garde music. After completing his BMus at the Conservatoire of the Balearic Islands, he graduated with a Masters Degree in saxophone performance and orchestral conducting at the Royal College of Music, London, in 2020. He has actively attended masterclasses with saxophonists of the calibre of Jean-Marie Londeix, Javier Girotto, Nikita Zimin, among others, as well as conductors Howard Williams, Ferrer Ferran, and Paolo Belloli. During his time at the RCM he had the opportunity to collaborate with other major musical and academic institutions, such as the Royal Academy of Arts, where he performed in front of HRH the Duchess of Cornwall in 2019. He has also featured as a soloist in world-renown concert venues, such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and the Royal Albert Hall.
